Typinator is faster and less wonky than TextExpander. It is one of four essential productivity apps I could not live without. I have tried the others, but Typinator is the easiest – by far. I tested a couple of other products before purchasing yours and only Typinator was 100% rock-solid. Typinator is the BEST utility I have purchased in a very long time. It's also more difficult to wrangle for some people.

Keyboard Maestro is far more powerful than TextExpander on the Mac but lacks any useful functionality on iOS. Alfred is just fine for basic snippets on the Mac but aText is probably the better option if you don't like TypeIt4Me or Typinator. For kicks I did a CPU usage comparison between the two programs.
